School Programs

Bar-T is Maryland’s premier childcare provider. We provide enriching before and after school care for children across our 35 programs that serve both Montgomery and Frederick County. We offer Pre-Kindergarten classes for 3 and 4 year olds in 3 additional locations and our newest programs provide infant through school-age care at our program at Thurgood Marshall Elementary.

Early Childhood Education

Bar-T’s newest programs are our Early Childhood Education Programs. Based at Thurgood Marshall Elementary, we are excited to offer care to children of all ages.

Kids Club: Before and After School Programs

Kindergarten through 5th Grade

We strongly believe that children need to have choices, and we provide a variety of opportunities for children each day. At Bar-T Kids Club, we allow our children to choose which clubs, games, and special events they would most enjoy. With 36 locations across Montgomery and Frederick Counties, we offer exceptional programming at locations convenient for families.

Early Childhood Education

Bar-T’s newest program is our Early Childhood Education Program. Based at one location, Thurgood Marshall ES, we are excited to offer care to children of all ages (infants through school aged).

Pre-Kindergarten

The Bar-T Pre-Kindergarten Program is designed to provide a high quality, creative, hands-on, child-centered learning environment for children. Students must be 4 years old by September 1st, and be fully toilet trained, or 3 years old and fully toilet trained at our Belmont and Matsunaga programs.

Kids Club

Our Bar-T Kids Club program is the largest private provider of before and after school programs for children in Montgomery County. We strongly believe that children need to have choices, and we provide a variety of opportunities for children each day.
