A Letter from Joe
I’m excited to welcome you to Bar-T Summer Camps. We know that kids are busier than ever and that there are number of options for where your camper can spend their summer. While making these plans can be overwhelming, we’re here to make this easy for you to plan and give your camper a summer to remember.
I grew up as a Bar-T camper, I’ve worked here for over 20 years, and now my own children go to Bar-T. I know what it’s like to ask someone to keep your kids safe, have fun with them, and help them grow. I want you to know that we take this responsibility very seriously and we’re going to do our absolute best to give your family an incredible camp experience.
Whether you have a first-time camper or a seasoned vet, here’s what you can expect to see at every Bar-T camp:
- They’re going to be tired. We promise to pack so much fun into the day that you shouldn’t be surprised when they fall asleep early.
- They’re going to get dirty. We love playing outside and getting messy. Save the good clothes and shoes for the start of school.
- They’re going to make new friends. Camp is the perfect launch pad for friendships and we do everything in our power to help kids make new friends.
- They’re going to grow. Camp is a safe place for kids to have new experiences and find out who they are outside of the classroom. Some of my most formative times were at camp and I see them happen here every day.
A Magical Summer
Yes, the Bar-T experience is magical and each of our camp locations has unique ways of making each day as memorable as the first day of camp. From our flagship locations at Ranch and Mountainside to each of our school-based Kids Camps, we’re providing the best summer experience around.

Just like our campers, I wait all year for these eleven weeks of summer camp. Each day is an opportunity for a new adventure and we will not waste a single one of them.
