Excursion Team

This summer Bar-T is hitting the road. Each day our campers will be heading out to new and exciting destinations. We’ll visit amusement parks, ropes courses, water parks, and much more. The Excursion Team takes the great Bar-T staff you already know and the convenience you love and gives you the most exciting travel camp around. Each week will be a new adventure – from the places we visit to the dress up days and special events we hold. The Excursion Team will also have it’s own Bar-T bus so the campers can travel in style.

Excursion Team is offered in weekly sessions from July 7th through August 15th. The rate for one week of Excursion Camp is $595. Excursion Camp will offer transportation from both Mountainside and Ranch, choose whichever location is most convenient for your family.

As our outstanding counselors ensure that there is no limit to the fun, our Excursion Team campers are on a field trip to a new location every day. From swimming at Chesapeake Beach Water Park to cheering on our favorite team at a Washington Nationals game, Excursion Team has it covered.

Bar-T provides bus transportation to and from camp each day, for an additional fee of $50 per week. A Bar-T staff member meets our families at each of our transportation sites and rides the bus to and from camp to help ensure our camper’s safety. Bar-T staff will arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled bus departure to check our campers in and answer any questions parents may have. We ask that our parents remain on site until after the bus has departed to help ensure everyone’s safety. Our staff will help make sure that our campers reach their group with a smile on their face each morning and will remain at the transportation site each afternoon until all campers have been picked up.

Please note: Each Wednesday will be our “extended day” to allow us extra time to adventure with our campers to locations that are a bit further away. On Wednesdays we will be unable to offer our usual transportation services from Ranch and Mountainside due to our delayed return time. Our Bar-T leadership team will be in communication with all parents throughout the day on Wednesdays regarding our return time and offered pick-up locations according to the designated trip.

For families that need coverage beyond the camp day, we offer extended care options at Ranch, Mountainside, Kids Camps, and select sites that allow campers to arrive as early as 7am and stay as late as 6:30pm. This extended care option is offered on a weekly basis and families can choose morning extended care ($70) and/or afternoon extended care ($90). Campers who attend extended care will not be charged a transportation fee.
